Help Homeless Animals!
On May 16, I will be joining hundreds of other animal lovers from the St. Louis area for Bark in the Park - A Walk for the Animals to support the Humane Society of Missouri. It's a fun way for me to help homeless and abused animals.(Ramses and Ra will be at home, but they will be cheering on their doggie cousins!)
As you know, this is a cause that is very close to my heart, and I hope you'll support me in this effort.
Sponsor My Participation
As part of my participation in Bark in the Park, I am collecting donations from my friends and family. Any size gift is greatly appreciated!
Help Give Homeless Animals a Second Chance
The Humane Society of Missouri is dedicated to second chances. We provide a safe and caring haven to all animals in need--large and small--that have been abused, neglected or abandoned. Our mission is to end the cycle of abuse and pet overpopulation through our rescue and investigation efforts, spay/neuter programs and educational classes. We are committed to creating lasting relationships between people and animals through our adoption programs. We further support that bond by making available world-class veterinary care, and outstanding pet obedience and behavior programs.
Founded in 1870, the Humane Society of Missouri serves more than 90,000 animals annually. The Humane Society of Missouri receives no federal, state or local tax support or United Way funding.
Proceeds raised by Bark in the Park benefit the Humane Society of Missouri's Dr. Doolittle Fund, which provides veterinary medical care for homeless pets so that they can go up for adoption. The cost of pre-adoption veterinary care can be hundreds of dollars for each pet. Without owners to pay for this medical care, you are making it possible for a homeless stray to become a loved pet. The animals send their thanks!
