The Humane Society of Missouri is looking for a few good dogs to represent all St. Louis shelter pets at the 2010 Bark in the Park.
If you think your dog is paws down the best dog on the block, send us an email telling us why. This year the Humane Society of Missouri would like to spotlight dogs that have overcome pawsonal obstacles or helped their families through “ruff” spots of their own. In your email, please answer one of the following questions:
1. How has your pooch helped you or your family through a “ruff” spot? 2. Has your dog faced a obstacle and come out on the other side with his tail still wagging? What is your dog’s story of never-quit spirit? 3. Tell us your dog’s adoption story from homeless hound to pampered pooch.
The Bark in the Park Mascot has a very important job of leading the dog walk and acting as the doggy spokesperson of the event. All entrants should get canine kudos for good behavior and have good manners with people and with other dogs. They should enjoy walking on a leash and should be comfortable and calm in new situations.
GRAND PRIZE- THE OFFICIAL MASCOT WILL RECEIVE A YEAR’S SUPPLY OF PURINA® ONE DOG FOOD.
